Great food and great setting. In El Paseo drive and walking distance to all the stores. Had the spinach and pear salad, good stuff but a bit over-dressed. The personal pizza was unique and just enough for two assuming you have an appetizer or salad. Next time I plan on just ordering some of the yummy looking appetizers. Wine list was solid. Pricy though, over $80 for salad and pizza and glass of wine.

Extremely good calamari 🐙The breading and sauce are great. Garlic bread is airy and has a little crispy. So good 🔥The caprese w/ pepperoni & add basil 🍃is phenomenal. The Pollo 🍗 pizza is really good too. Imo needs a tad bit more sauce but still really good . Great atmosphere and wine. ⚠️Definitely check it out ❗

This review pertains directly too who and how we were treated on arrival. Not our server . We have been to Piero’s numerous times over the years and always enjoy the atmosphere in the front of the restaurant and the food. Our recent visit brought on a very unpleasant exchange with the male host. I believe manager, at the front when we arrived. We were taken to the back of the restaurant, which we honestly did not know existed. When asking if we might be able to move to the front, he became so rude and bullying towards our party, It was unbelievable. We were all left with a “what just happened” during this dialogue as all we were asking - in a very polite manner was if we could move to a different area. His actual comment was “do you really want to get into this”? He didn’t ask that the conversation be out of range of other incoming guest or bar patrons. Incredibly unprofessional and downright rude. We will not be back because of this interaction. A very poor example was displayed. Our waiter was wonderful, but this has left a bad taste that will carry forward unfortunately. Having a bad day or not, this is 100% not how a management employee should speak to pleasant customers out for a nice evening.
